HR Kennels warranties our puppies against genetic defects that limit the dog's ability to fulfill the purpose for which it was purchased. We also offer a satisfaction guarantee on your new puppy.
We encourage our customers to neuter or spay their dogs. Neutered males or spayed females make the finest hunters and family dogs. It is recommended that this be done at an early age. As an adult, the male will not have learned sexual and territorial habits. Likewise, spayed females do not have heat cycles, and can be hunted any time of the year.
If Buyer is not satisfied with the puppy purchased, puppy may be returned to HR Kennels at Buyers cost. HR Kennels will replace puppy (at the earliest possible time) or a full refund of the purchase price will be made, except shipping. This satisfaction guarantee is valid for 72 hours after Buyer receives puppy. Buyer is encouraged to have puppy examined by his or her own veterinarian within three days of the sale. If puppy is returned due to illness HR Kennels must be provided with a written report of the dog's health problem from Buyer's veterinarian. The Buyer resumes full responsibility for all costs and care during this time. There is no guarantee against accidents or sickness not contracted on HR Kennels' premises. The puppy will have been wormed, 6-week shots received and dew claws removed prior to sale.
Your puppy has been bred from temperamentally sound parents. Reasonable precautions have been taken to prevent this puppy from acquiring hereditary defects. It has been proven that hip dysplasia is part heredity and increasingly environmental. The ambiguity surrounding the environmental and hereditary causes of hip dysplasia, cataracts and other genetic diseases make a guarantee impossible. Instead, we warranty our puppies against genetic defects that limit the dog's ability to fulfill the purpose for which it was purchased.
However, if your puppy
should develop hip dysplasia or cataracts (see conditions below) a comparable
replacement will be given at the earliest possible time. No cash
refund or other compensation for expenses will be given. We do not require you
to destroy or return the dog to collect on our warranty; however, the dog must
be neutered or spayed with proof of it provided to HR Kennels in writing from
your veterinarian. AKC papers must be released back to HR Kennels. If the dog
has been bred prior to two years old or used heavily for field training, open
obedience, hunting, or any other strenuous activity prior to one year of age,
environmentally induced dysplasia and other joint problems may develop. If
these factors occur, it is left to HR Kennel's discretion to honor this
warranty. A pet that is found to have a mild condition, and condition will not
shorten or diminish the quality of life for that pet, will not be
replaced.
